Donovan Ray Hardenbrook

Donovan Ray Hardenbrook is President of Arizona-based Leap Innovation L.L.C., which specializes in quality management and product innovation solutions for high tech, aerospace and medical device companies.
Prior to founding Leap Innovation (formerly known as Hardenbrook Consulting) in 2007, Hardenbrook spent nearly 20 years at Intel Corporation, holding individual contributor and management positions in the manufacturing, quality, operations and human resources departments. During the last 10 years at Intel, he drove corporate deployment of best practices in Stage-Gate®, portfolio management, requirements engineering, retrospectives and enterprise collaboration tools into newly acquired and established product divisions ranging from $200 million to $1.3 billion in revenue.
Hardenbrook currently serves as vice president of association and membership development for the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA), which is an international organization comprised of more than 3,500 product development professionals. He is also the book review editor for PDMA’s Journal of Product Innovation Management (JPIM) and the past founding president of the Arizona chapter. Hardenbrook is a certified PDMA New Product Development Professional and has delivered numerous workshops and lectures in product innovation, portfolio management, requirements engineering and retrospectives.
Hardenbrook has a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Arizona as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s of Science in electrical engineering from New Mexico State University.
